Very good kitchen - really recommendable! (Restaurant visit with friends 2019) Easter 2020: We used the offer of a "cooking box" with the Easter menu 2: Very tasty and really easy to prepare at home (instructions were included). So you can enjoy even in times of the pandemic and at the same time support the local economy at least a little bit (food see photos). We recommend! Update summer 2020: Dinner with the family, outdoors under trees with a view of the Neckar. As always, delicious food, good wines and perfect service! It was a pleasure! Update Christmas 2020: Unfortunately, we were unable to dine on site due to the corona. Therefore we decided on the Christmas menu to go and ... we were not disappointed! Great quality, perfectly prepared and handled. Many thanks to the Christians team !! We very much hope you will hold out and stay with Neckargemünd!

Very good business, very good shopping

The food is exceptionally good as always. The service is competent and nice. A visit is definitely worth it.

nice restaurant with a view of the Neckar and very tasty food. We have been there several times. We found the transparent plastic face mask of the wait staff negative, which unfortunately was open at the bottom. Since the waitress is close to the guest and the guest sits downstairs, the exhaled air from the waitress can easily reach the guest. We therefore did not feel safe and prefer a closed mouth guard when serving. Please modify. Otherwise a very good restaurant!

Great place to eat. Nice view on the river and a very friendly staff. The dishes are very tasty. Of course this kind of quality comes with a price, but the experience is worth it.

Super tasty, great location

The following should be said of all those who would like to apply for an apprenticeship at this location. A multi-day internship apparently only serves to save the costs for assistants at events! At the end of his three-day internship, my 15-year-old son was told very succinctly that he could neither be given a training contract nor a preliminary contract. He is still so young and should rather attend vocational school for another year, then "apply again" and do another internship. No my dear really not like that !!! To exploit a young person who is willing to train in such a way and to cheat them is just the last thing in my eyes! Even if I cannot finally write a review about the dishes you have prepared, the at least partial use of "convenience products" is absolutely not indicative of a recommendable kitchen and is not at all in accordance with the prices you asked for. With this in mind, I cannot and will not recommend your restaurant to anyone with a clear conscience!

Were invited here to a wonderful wedding by very dear friends. It goes without saying that the location is very beautiful (on the Neckar). The food was just amazing! The staff was always very friendly and quick. To recommend unconditionally!

Everything is just right here! The food was very good and everything was cooked to the point. The plates looked very nice and were a real taste experience. The ambience is wonderful. The service very attentive and warm. You can tell that the Hess family has put a lot of heart and soul into the restaurant. Total package: world class! Thanks for everything and see you soon.

Very good food, nice ambience (outdoor terrace with a view of the Neckar), competent and friendly service staff ... so it was a wonderful evening at Christians. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is excellent. It is not only the unique location that is convincing, but also the food and service are unparalleled in the region. The price-performance ratio is consistent and I can strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat very well in a great atmosphere.

We were having dinner with friends last night on the occasion of a birthday and all 5 were completely satisfied. Attentive, unobtrusive service, excellent ingredients, fine-tuned flavors, great atmosphere. The prices are absolutely fine for the great performance. Conclusion: recommended if you are a pleasure eater ;-)

It was our first time today, and definitely not the last time. The greeting was warm. The 6 course menu was perfect, maybe a little much. The wine accompaniment harmonized excellently. The service was attentive and courteous at all times. The prices are absolutely reasonable.

Super ambience. I've been here before. Today we had to wait 2 hours for the main course. Price / performance ratio is no longer correct. This was our last visit. The great location doesn't help either.

Fabulous meal in a lovely setting. Restaurant overlooks the Neckar. Food and Service were exceptional. Highly recommended.

We were here for two on Good Friday for dinner, both a 5-course fish menu, me with wine. In short: we were very satisfied. Perfectly fried fish, delicious side dishes. Nice places at the window with a view of the Neckar. Nice ambience. Nice service. Small points of criticism would be that the portions were almost too big and that the service could perhaps have been a little better at saying something about the wine and individual courses - for example, more than the name and country of origin of the wines, a few words about the cheese course , Origin, intensity of each variety. Clear recommendation, Christian's restaurant is really a culinary experience here in the region.

Very clear ambience and excellent acoustics. Even full staff we could talk very well at the table. The food was creative and everyone enjoyed it very much. The duck breast alone would have stood for a crispy skin. Friendly service.
